Policy Letter
Thank you for choosing
CertaPro Painters to paint the interior of your home. The following is the
process that we will be using to ensure a smooth project with as little
inconvenience to you as possible. Please read each document at the bottom of
this page, that pertains to the room or area that you are having painted in
your home. The painting of your home will be scheduled once you have completed
the “Paint Acceptance Form” on our website. Please feel free to call our
office at 513-891-3068 or 859-426-9500 should you have any questions.
- Scheduling. All work is scheduled on a first come, first
serve basis. You will be contacted by our Residential Operations Manager
to discuss the start of your project. We will do our best to accommodate
your painting deadlines, please talk to your Sales Associate or the office
for more details.
- Color Confirmation. You have two choices when it comes to your
color choice. They are color match and color choice. Your Sales
Associate can match the closet color from a fan deck, or if you have the
old cans and/or paint numbers we can use those. You will need to confirm
your color prior to the start of your job. You may pick a different color
prior to the ordering of your paint and confirm this via email, fax, or
mail. However, if you choose a color that will require a second coat of
paint to cover, you will be charged the “optional” coat fee.
If
you are changing colors, please visit your local paint store and view their
interior color swatches. We are also able to recommend interior designers that
serve as color consultants for our company. Please be advised that there may
be a fee associated with this service. As an additional service to our
clients, you may also visit your local Sherwin Williams store and choose 3
“Colors to Go”. This is a service that enables you to choose 3 paint colors to
take home to test on your walls, giving you a sense of how the color will look
with the lighting in your home, giving you confidence for picking the color
that’s right for you. Lastly, please take a look at our website at www.certaprocincy.com or www.certapronky.com and click on the
color tab and check out our color resources and color case studies. These are
helpful resources for many of our clients.
- Communication. Once the work has commenced, your Crew Leader
or the Residential Field Supervisor should be able to handle any questions
about your job. If you still have questions please contact your estimator
or the office at 513-891-3068 or 859-426-9500.
- Drywall Repair and/or
wallpaper removal. This
pertains to our clients that are having drywall or plaster repair/skim
coating done, or wallpaper removal. There is no way around it,
drywall/plaster repair and wallpaper removal are messy jobs. Our crews
will do their best to keep the mess to a minimum, however since
drywall/plaster have the consistency of flour please understand that you
will most likely have to deep clean when they are finished. With regards
to wallpaper removal, again this is a messy job too. The crew will remove
all materials from your home, and do their best to keep the mess to a
minimum, but please know that it will be your responsibility to clean.
The good news is, that when all of the work is completed and your home is
back to normal, it is going to look and feel amazing! It will be worth
it.
- Completion. Upon completion, the Foreman will walk you
around your home to inspect the work that has been completed. At this
time, any concerns or touch ups should be addressed so that every effort
can be made to correct them before the crew moves to their next project.
Once you are satisfied that all work has been completed in accordance with
the proposal, we ask that you give the Foreman the completed close down
packet including your method of payment. Our system is designed so that
we collect payment upon project completion. Once the crew has moved to
their next project, their attention is focused on meeting that clients
needs. If we have to return to your home several days after the work has
been completed, not only will we not have any equipment on your job, we
will also have to leave the project that we are currently working on. We
hope that you can understand why we need to finish your project before we
begin our next clients project. You may have up to 24hrs. from the time
that the Foreman informs you that your project is complete to sign-off and
pay for the work completed. There will be a $50.00 fee if you do not
sign-off on your project within the above-mentioned guidelines.
What should I do to get ready?
